About the Camp

Parks & Crafts is an outdoor art camp based in Seattle that centers creativity, nature, and self-expression. Each session begins with crafting a personal art journal or sketchbook, which campers fill throughout the week as they explore different materials and techniques.

Campers help shape the experience by sharing what they’re curious to learn and create. We work with both traditional art supplies and found materials gathered from the forest and beach, emphasizing process, experimentation, and imagination over perfection.

“We believe process matters more than perfection.”

Pidgeon is an enthusiastic artist and lifelong student of watercolor painting and mixed media art journaling. She loves creating and crafting with friends and niblings, hiking with her dog Betty, and spending time at the beach watching the water.

Pidgeon is a childcare provider and preschool teacher with over 30 years of experience. While not currently operating her preschool, Hullabaloo, she remains up to date on Washington State requirements, including STARS training, background checks, First Aid and CPR certification, food handler permits, and fingerprinting.
